Youth Development Programme

Our Youth Development Programme is designed for those who are potentially interested in pursuing a career in performance, aerial teaching or looking to push themselves further. The programme moves the students through 3 levels, challenging their skills and conditioning over two hours each lesson. The YDP students take part in competitions, performances, design their own showcase pieces and, for those who are interested, begin their teacher training.

Students are assessed three times a year against the entry requirements and must meet the criteria before being invited to move up. Coaches work towards the entry requirements in the rec sessions, alongside YDP to ensure there is continual progression. New students who have previous experience in aerial, gymnastics or trampolining, can book a private assessment with a coach if they believe they already meet the requirements.

The CIC heavily subsides YDP memberships to ensure it is accessible to all.
